FEE AND SESSION INFORMATION
FEES
I have a sliding scale of £55 - £65 per 50 minute session, which can be paid by cash or bank transfer.
I can offer a lower rate for students and people on low incomes. Please ask about this rate when you first make contact if it applies to you.
ACCESS
I work at:
Jacksons Close is a narrow close connecting the Royal Mile and Cockburn Street. There is a flight of stairs to enter the building and a few internal stairs to gain access to the counselling room and unfortunately there is no lift.
NUMBER OF SESSIONS
If you would like to work in a focused way on something quite specific then a short term contract will probably be enough (e.g. up to 6 sessions).
Large issues or a series of issues can often take time to work through. Difficulties stemming from childhood or that have been with you for a long time may also require more sessions but will ultimately be rewarding.
We can discuss all of this at our first meeting and will keep reviewing our progress throughout our time together.
ONLINE AND PHONE
If it is difficult for you to come to a face-to-face session every week, we can discuss having sessions online or by phone instead.
